President Donald Trump will meet with Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene as he approaches the start of his second impeachment trial.
Trump’s team hasn’t confirmed the call, but Greene said she talks to him “frequently.”
According to New York Times reporter Maggie Habermann, “Trump has found a new way to keep himself in the press.”
It was reported Monday morning that Trump has been relegated to begging his friends to tweet for him since he doesn’t have access to his account anymore.
“Due to Twitter’s banning of the @realDonaldTrump account following the Capitol riot that Trump instigated, he has not been able to personally trash Cheney via his once widely read tweets,” the Daily Beast reported. “He has written out insults and observations, several of them about Cheney, but with no ability to tweet them himself, he has resorted to suggesting put-downs for others to use or post to their own Twitter, according to a person with direct knowledge of this new habit.”
Trump could easily call press conferences, do interviews with networks or even have his own show on OAN or Newsmax. Instead, he’s been banished to Mar-a-Lago, holding court for Republican leaders begging for help.
