As Hatboro woman led off to state prison for selling deadly dose of heroin, she tells reporters ‘Go Birds’

NORRISTOWN, Pa. (KYW Newsradio) — A Montgomery County woman is on her way to state prison for selling the drugs that killed a Willow Grove man in 2016.

After she was sentenced to six to 15 years in state prison for selling fentanyl laced heroin to 32-year-old Michael Pastorino, Gwendolyn Prebish was asked what she thought of the sentence.

“Go Birds,” she said.

This after she was crying in front of a judge, saying drugs ruined her life and her actions ruined the lives of those around her.

Her lawyer argued she only sold drugs to support her own dependency.

But prosecutor Kathleen McLaughlin pointed to a series text messages that she argued showed this was not a one-time thing or just a friend helping out a friend.

As he handed down the sentence, Judge Stephen O’Neill pointed out Prebish contacted Pastorino as soon as he got of jail after a probation violation.

“For you, he was a prime customer, a good client,” O’Neill said.
