With the 2021 NFL Draft finally here, all 32 teams can begin to shape the future of their franchise. After all of the evaluating of prospects — including some who opted out of the 2020 season and thus haven’t played a competitive game since 2019 — the time has come to make selections in this week’s seven-round draft.
This year’s event in Cleveland features fans and some of the top prospects, although others, such as prospective No. 1 pick Trevor Lawrence, will be, like you, tuning in from home. From a deep class of talented QBs to a variety of wide receivers, the 2021 NFL Draft has plenty of names for the Philadelphia Eagles to choose from when they’re on the clock.
Having traded down to the 12th overall pick, the Eagles will be making 11 total selections throughout the entire three-day event. After a meager performance last year, they have several roster holes they will look to fill ahead of the 2021 season.

Could the Eagles trade up in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft?
Though they traded down to the No. 12 overall pick, the Eagles could be looking to make a move up ahead of tonight’s first round. According to ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Philadelphia has been “active this week” trying to get ahead of the Dallas Cowboys at No. 10 in order to grab a top cornerback.
Eagles reportedly ‘love’ Kwity Paye
The Eagles have shown a tendency to use their first-round pick on defensive lineman over the years. Perhaps they’ll do so again in the 2021 draft. Tony Pauline of ProFootballNetwork reported that the Eagles “love” Michigan edge rusher Kwity Paye, arguably the top lineman in a weak class of pass rushers.
